About Us
I started HIH in 2009 after my near death traumatic brain injury while skateboarding without a helmet. What started as a singular mission turned quickly into a supported group effort. I wanted to make helmets available to skaters globally, and to promote skaters that wear a helmet. 2009 There was a lack of prevention and awareness campaigns for skaters, we filled that void with our “rider of the month“ program.
HIH is starting a new chapter, new look and dialing in our campaign.
